M.I.S.S. Techcessories: Andy Warhol for Incase iPhone 4/4S Cases

Andy Warhol Incase

Picked up an iPhone 4S? Into pop art?

If you thought the partnership between Incase and the Andy Warhol Foundation was over, then you thought wrong.  Very wrong.  After all, the Christmas season is upon us.  And what better time than this to pimp new iPhone 4/4S cases?  This time around Andy Warhol’s iconic art can be found on a series of Snap Cases for Apple’s still popular, number 4 bearing smartphones.    The cases not only feature a durable, hardshell construction, but also five distinct pieces from the Warhol’s body of silk screening work, including  Self Portrait, Crowd, Cars, Handle with Care - Glass - Thank You and Diamond Dust Shoes. They are all available now Incase’s online webstore.

New Video from DJ Shadow Featuring Little Dragon

dj shadow scale it back video

DJ Shadow‘s The Less You Know, The Better dropped just two months ago.  Check out this video for “Scale It Back,” featuring vocals from our favorite Swedish rock band frontwoman: Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon!

The one-shot, chain-reaction video makes use of space, props and film magic in a home-brewed way that is just charming enough to work, seemingly pulling inspiration from Michel Gondry and Wes Anderson (two of the best!).

She’s Got Sole: Nike Women’s Air Max 90 Vac Tech Felt

We all recognize felt fabric from those elementary school story boards we acted out Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs. Well craft time is over. Nike Sportswear found a new way to used the compressed woollen fibers. The Air Max 90 Vac Tech Felt features a one-piece speckled felt upper complete with molded Nike check imprint. The black material is contrasted by an off-white midsole and black outsole. These babies are sweet. I swear a craft material never looked so good. These are a definite cop in my book. I’m sold off the material and unibody upper alone.

The kicks are available now at select stores with a NSW account.

It’s Cyber Monday - Are You Shopping?

cyber monday
I have about ten email accounts and one of them is devoted to just store emails. But at this time of year, somehow, someway, every email account I have is bombarded with notices from online stores. Today happens to be the peak since it’s Cyber Monday. I’ll save you some time from checking all of your emails and let you know that pretty much every online store is having a sale and many are offering free shipping.

Based on this years’ sales figures, it’s very likely that many of you reading this will be making an online purchase today. The economy may not be back in full effect but “a record 226 million shoppers hit stores and e-commerce sites over the Black Friday weekend.” (WWD) Looks like things may finally be looking up!

I personally stayed away from shopping and took a break from the computer. I tried going to one store on Friday and just walked out after a few minutes because I couldn’t handle the chaos, crowds, and lines. I know I’ll be doing most of my holiday shopping online. What about you? Did you shop this weekend? What did you get? Are you shopping online?

Chanel Cruise 2011/12 Sneaker

Every season Chanel releases a sneaker and for Cruise 2011/12, Chanel has opted for a running sneaker silhouette. This particular silhouette looks like a model from the 1990s - Chanel seems to save its technological developments for its beauty and watch categories. It’s ok though because this sneaker is proof that putting double C’s on something automatically makes them better!
