The Coveted is a blog I’ve been lurking on for a few weeks now…I know, I know, lurking is creepy but I’m changing my ways! I get so excited about the stuff featured on this blog, that I find myself grabbing my keys and flying out the door to shop! Jennine, who runs the blog, is also a fashion inspiration! Not only does she document her wardrobe for the day (this girl owns the cutest vintage shoes!) but she also seems to always be on the look-out for San Francisco street fashionistas. Are you one of them? Check the archives HERE!

I’m an old fashioned kind of girl, of the ex-smoker current coffee drinker variety, so maintenance of a pearly white smile is a perpetual responsibility for me. I believe in sound investments and earned value when it comes to beauty, which is why I don’t enjoy spending a ton of money on teeth whitening products. So here is a little INEXPENSIVE and QUICK trick I came up with after dishing out $120 last year for Go Smile – a very brilliantly branded style teeth bleaching system that packages a peroxide gel in a single serving glass ampoule applied to each tooth for six seconds. Its branding strategy and packaging was actually more impressive than its delivery, which is why I decided to make my own version, more so a tooth polish than a bleach, since the whitening process is natural, not severe, and painless, with results just as effective if not more than the Go Smile System, and the best part is that you’ll be left with the cleanest feeling teeth you’ve ever experienced. And these days, I’m very smiley, since I don’t have to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak, cause that money gets diverted right into to my fragrance fund, but that’s another story….
I had the pleasure of meeting Tasha & Melanie at a Ladies Lotto meeting in New York a few months ago. The two have joined forces like voltron to create The Agytators - a dynamic duo working in photography and film
to challenge stereotypes created by mass media. Here’s a glimpse from their mission statement:
To AGYTATE the masses, you must provoke them into thought. THEY MUST THINK ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND THEM, AND HOW THEY AS INDIVIDUALS COME TO AFFECT THE MASSES BY THEIR ACTIONS. ART IS THE ULTIMATE TOOL OF EXAMINATION & PENETRATION INTO THE FIBRE OF LIFE. AS ARTISTS, IT IS OUR OBLIGATION TO SHED LIGHT ONTO OUR OWN CANVAS OF EXPERIENCE GIVE A TRUE TO LIFE DEPICTION OF THE ISSUES THAT CONFRONT US DAILY.
