Lisa Frank and Her Rainbow World Exist

Growing up I was obsessed with Lisa Frank.  Her rainbows, hearts and unicorns were my favorite and I couldn’t get enough of stickers, stationary and folders.  Her iconic look is instantly recognizable and just a glimpse brings back many childhood memories.  It turns out Lisa Frank and her rainbow world actually do exist.

Check out the video below for an interview of the artist, and a look into her world headquarters, along with a peek at some original art — real illustrations and airbrush art.  So amazing!

Video: StreetThread Queen Andrea Installation

Queen Andrea was hired by Mohawk Group, the largest US manufacturer of designer carpet and flooring, to create “street art” inspired carpets using her own art as graphic motifs for carpet tiles. This collaboration included an exciting large scale time lapse video of her mural collage work, which was built into a 30-foot long wall in the Mohawk showroom at the prestigious NeoCon tradeshow in Chicago. Check out the video by clicking the image below…

André x Orangina

André x Orangina

One of my favorite refreshing beverages is Orangina — and it’s the latest beverage brand to team up with an artist to come up with some snazzy packaging to build some hype, hype, hype. Starting September 2, Colette will exclusively sell a collector’s box set. If you find that you need some artistic refreshment, head on over to Colette.fr in September to get yours.

KESH x American Apparel Collection

KESH x American Apparel Collection

Designer/Artist/ It-Girl KESH has teamed up with American Apparel to produce a capsule collection.  All the pieces in the collection feature her signature black and white graphic prints on tees, leggings, crop tops, a hat and bikini.

My go-to palette is black and white, and it just so happens to be very trendy right now so these pieces will fit seamlessly into your summer closet. I love getting artist clothing collaboration because the pieces are much more affordable than the art.

You can get the KESH x American Apparel collection now on the American Apparel website.
