Tie-Ups

The belt, an accessory of simple function and form, has just been brought to another level. Tie-Ups were created with the thought in mind that new ideas in fashion have yet to be realized. In this case, the idea that one belt can be for both formal and casual styling. Leather is often the go-to when you want to cinch those formal slacks while fabric belts are more appropriate for casual looks but Tie-Ups work well whether you’re dressed up or down. The difference is in the material: Tie-Ups are created entirely from plastic. The unisex belts come in a variety of bright and neutral colors that are flat or slightly translucent as well as a “slimcut” for a thinner belt-line and interchangeable buckles to switch up the usual monochrome scheme.

This week, Yoox.com unveiled a special sale of vintage Christian Dior pieces from the 1940s to the 1980s. There’s everything from sunglasses, gloves, hats, brooches and gowns.
