Stüssy and Hellz Bellz have teamed up to put together a collaborative capsule collection and it’s launching this spring. We saw samples of this at M.A.G.I.C. in August but it was top secret so we couldn’t spill the beans but now pictures of the collection are surfacing online. I’m really excited to see Hellz Bellz team up with an industry heavy weight like Stüssy: It’s a match made in heaven and, as you can tell by the preview, the collection’s going to be hot! We’ll keep you updated with launch dates and more info about the collection.

The ladies of Worship Worthy are releasing a small collection of graphic tees, a hoodie and leggings for Fall 2008 with product hitting shelves at the end of September. We’re excited to see the new line! I got a promo tee at the last M.A.G.I.C. tradeshow and it’s one of my favorite tees. I do have to say that I am surprised that women would be perpetuating the image of a woman bound and powerless - it’s so sad to see women fall into the misogynistic communication patterns that men have established rather than trying to blaze new paths. Regardless of that, I think that the clothes will be dope and I’m excited for the launch.

We’re happy to introduce the newest ladies line on the block - Seduce and Destroy, a line produced by a Boston-based design team, is as much a battle cry as it is a clothing line. It represents the confidence, prowess, and empowerment that women everywhere should utilize to reach their goals. S&D uses a solid design aesthetic with a provocative edge. You can find the line at Lab Boston and you can order over the phone if you’re not in the area by calling 617.395.4330.

Yours Truly just gave us a sneak-peak at their upcoming Spring ‘08 line called “Girls Play.” The spring line includes 5 styles of tees in a bunch of different colorways. Expect to see a tee dedicated to old school dances…you remember the Tootsie Roll, right? Another tee has the late Anna Nicole Smith on the front with “Neckbreaker” down the back. Yours Truly Brand also introduces their foundation for “Inner Titty Youth,” haha. This line will hit stores in March and we’ll keep you posted with more info.

Evolve Universal is one of the first girls streetwear brands I heard about back before "streetwear" was a word and I was still doing Cybelle (R.I.P.). If you think there are few ladies in the game now, there were even less when we started. Jennifer Nagler, the lovely lady behind Evolve Universal is a painter and does all of the artwork/illustrations/graphics for the line herself. I’ve always loved her illustration style and she always manages to include a positive message - you can never have enough of that. She’s been in the game for deep and her line is going through a bit of a renaissance after taking a little break. I’m so excited she’s producing new stuff. Here’s a little sneak peak - her new site should be up in about a month but until then you can check this out.
