Femme Friendly Dunks

This Spring, Nike is releasing Super High Skinny Dunks specifically designed for the female consumer in mind. We’ve seen plenty of Dunks released this past year but leave it up to Nike to constantly innovate and re-invent with a slimmer, less bulkier, and higher-cut design leaving the silhouette suitable for any tapered or skinny jean. The pack coming in 3 different fading color ways with 100% patent leather upper in a gradient like design are both certainly an upgrade from its predecessor; the first “skinny dunk for her” which was released in December of last year. Kudos to Jesse Leyva and the team of female designers who materialized the concept. Icy gum sole for the win!

In lieu of the “Dunk for Her”, it’s relatively opportune to mention that the Nike Foundation is also giving back to girls with The Girl Effect. Creating opportunities for young women living in poverty who are recognized as a potentially vital asset to their communities. It’s truly worth checkin out!
