Juxtapoz magazine has teamed up with Gingko Press to produce Juxtapoz Tattoo, a collectible coffee table book displaying art from some of today’s most talented tattooists.

I’m a reformed graff kid but carrying a Sharpie everywhere I go is something I may never be able to shake. Needless to say, I nearly lost it when I saw that graffiti/tattoo legend, Mike Giant, now his very own signature Sharpie! Here’s what Mike has to say about this amazing achievement:
“I’ve been inking every drawing with my signature REBEL8 Sharpies. I’ve been drawing with Sharpies almost exclusively since 1990. If someone then had told me that I’d have a Signature Sharpie someday, I would have laughed at them. But it’s 2008, and I make a living drawing with them. How crazy is that? Thanks, everybody.�

Kat Von D—the tattoo artist we know and love from L.A. Ink—has decorated a super-exclusive and edgy line just for Sephora! Sephora Beauty TV caught up with her for a preview of her super edgy new product line (she’s wearing it in the video) that will be debuting at Sephora in mid May. Check out the packaging she designed based on one of her favorite rose tattoos. The lipstick comes only in shades of red. The product names will sound familiar to those that stay up with L.A. Ink—her signature palette is named after her cat, Ludwig. More in the video!
