Karen Jane aka KJ aka Not Bad For a Girl is a graphix heavyweight living and working in London, England. The London chapter started when Karen Jane moved up from Brighton whilst in the midst of doing a 2 year MA in Communications at the Royal College of Art. Previously she had been commuting by train, and although that was pretty entertaining at times including random drinking sessions with regulars, ultimately swanning up and down Network South East was too much of a squeeze on her student funds and gave in to a life of city hustling and fast living. After rolling out of the RCA, doing the rounds on the London freelance design circuit including a long spell at Unorthodox Styles (Crooked Tongues / Spine Magazine); working for global brands (Sony, Nike, Coke to name a few); doing smaller project for her friends (Suspect Packages, CliqueNmove); contributing to numerous publications (Untitled Magazine, Tres Logos, 100@360); and doing the odd day at Mr Bongos record emporium (R.I.P) where she met Kam, KJ came to settle at her favorite agency Wieden+Kennedy, where she currently works as a Senior Designer.
