M.I.S.S. Techcessories: DIY Retro Paper Speakers
I personally like to run to the store and buy my electronics already assembled, but some people out there like to be a little more creative than that. If you’re the sort of person that’s up for a challenge and has had enough already with origami and the flood of papercraft dolls out there, check out these DIY Paper Speakers from Japanese gadget maker Princeton, With some scissors, a healthy amount of glue, and delicate little fingers, you too can have your very own, retro styled, real deal working PC speakers. There’s a tiny 3W amp and 1W speaker with 3.5mm audio jack and USB cable included in the kit. And, if you’re wondering, paper is actually pretty conducive to producing great sound. These babies will be available the first half of this month for around $22, so get those glue sticks ready.

iLuv Portable Speaker System
It seems like every other day now tech companies are releasing their popular goods in vibrant spring colors, and
iLuv is no exception. The portable electronics accessory specialists have just released their
iSP100 Ultra Portable Stereo Speaker System in striking pink and purple to go along with the already available black and silver colorways. Perfect for those times when headphones just won’t do because you need to kick out the jams as loud as possible, the iSP100 features iLuv’s jAura Acoustic Speaker Technology with 720° surround sound accoustic chambers that help coax improved sound quality from smaller drivers. It’s all powered by three AAA batteries, and is compatable with all versions of the iPod, iPhone, or any other MP3 player on the market (sometimes I cheat on my iPod Nano with my
Creative Zen Vision: M). You can pick up your
iSP100 Ultra Portable Stereo Speaker System for around $35.
