Today we honor Linda Smyth; the amazingly-creative mind behind the accessory lines, Fleathers and The Rabidfox and the Philly boutique Topstitch, each one cementing her place in women’s history.

Linda has been creating jewelry for 10 years now. It all started with self-adornment and the love of body art that over the years transformed into a more wearable, whimsical way of life.

Fleathers was developed 6 years ago. Originally inspired by birds, flowers and the aquatic world, these days color combinations explode from day to day experiences. Leather has been taken to the next level here with the variety of shapes and colors within this jewelry form.

Andrea, the lady behind the “fabulously creative” FLY blog, just posted a webisode featuring Philly designer, Nicole Fisher of NIC*FISH and it’s a must watch!

NIC*FISH pieces are designed to flow with the shape and natural movement of a woman’s body. Also, most of the knits are convertible - allowing the customer to wear the garment in a multitude of different ways.

M.I.S.S.’s very own Catzie Vilayphonh has been a key member in Phillytown’s newest export, two.one.five magazine, which just launched it’s very first print issue. The content is great and covers everything from music, fashion, interviews and general lifestyle. Catzie is the Fashion Director and she did the fashion spread which is one of the most creative ones I’ve seen in a while. The styling is dope and the photos are eye candy. If you can’t find the magazine in your area you can view it online here. And if you need your daily dose of two.one.five you can check out their website which also has unique interviews and features. I especially liked the pieces “Catz Out The Bag” where Catzie interviews various people.
