I’m a little late on this but Stones Throw recently issued Ladies First: A Female Rap Mix by Peanut Butter Wolf and it’s fresher than fresh! The mix is a collection of old school rap tracks by greats such as Roxanne Shanté and J.J. Fad and lesser known acts, like Undercover Lovers and Nina Hill, who are just as dope!
