How many top Mexican models do we know by name? Two come to mind: Elsa Benitez of swimsuit status and Liliana Dominguez best known for her Jergens lotion commercials. But Contempo, Mexico’s largest modeling agency, hopes to up that number.
Contempo recently selected Sofía Alexa Paras, 15, for her Bridget Bardot timeless beauty to promote Mexico in the world of fashion. In the last decade, Contempo has found and still reps the successful New York model Liliana Dominguez, the face of Yves Saint Laurent Gauche and more publicly the face of Jergens Natural Glow. You know her face.
Contempo recently selected Sofía Alexa Paras to promote Mexico in the world of fashion.
Oscar Madrazco, the artistic director for Mexico’s Next Top Model (Yes it exists!) and the director for Contempo Busca the model search that found Sofía, says the hope is that Sofía’s face and name become just as memorable as Elsa and Liliana.
