Day 1 of the tradeshow hustle included everything from Chanel to Jeremy Scott to vintage to the most loved Doc Marten’s. Comfort is key when doing this dance. You are on your feet for hours! So unless you’ve been hired to be a tradeshow “model,” we suggest leaving the heels at the hotel . . . your feet will thank you later.

A few weeks ago, Liz and I were invited as guest speakers to the Ladies Lotto SF chapter meeting. We took it as an opportunity to get some of the M.I.S.S. ladies together and the ladies came dressed to impress. Everyone was looking fabulous but we didn’t have time to shoot everyone. We did get some flicks of Reina and Michelle. Reina looked lovely in a vintage dress mixed with some heavy metal accents. One of my favorite shoe brands, Irregular Choice, has slashed prices on their Summer ‘08 collection. These shoes are so unique and cute that they are timeless. If I remember correctly, I was having a pretty bad day and had to drag myself out of the apartment. Comfort is always key for me and I took it to new heights by going out in sweatpants. I know, I know, I am officially contributing to the pajamafication of the U.S.A. It’s not my fault that they are the best sweatpants EVA. So a couple of weeks ago I attended The East Bay Express ‘Best of The East Bay 2008′ Party at the Oakland Museum. It was a rare warm night in the bay, so I got to rock a tank top and sandals…yeah, that’s a big thing for Summer on this side. Seeing as how I can’t always have Mr. OHW at my side to take photos in that awesome way he does, I had to work it out for myself. Good thing I took that yoga class that one time.

I had the honor and pleasure of celebrating Maritez & David’s wedding this past Saturday in Oakland. I love weddings because it’s an excuse for me to dress like a girl for a change.
