On Sunday we went to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire and met some friends. We experienced unseasonably warm weather – one might even say hot. I even got a bit of sunburn on my nose! I went for an outfit that was comfortable since we’d be on our feet a lot but that was also breathable since it was such a warm day. Here’s the breakdown from head to toe…
Sunglasses: Chanel
Earrings: Black Pearls
Necklace: Nameplate of my daughter’s name
Top: J.Crew gingham button up shirt
Bracelet: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Pants: J.Crew Waverly Chino
Bag: Louis Vuitton Pochette Bosphore
Shoes: Jack Purcell Sneakers

We’ve had a really mellow winter and it feels more like spring in Northern California. Last weekend the Tiny Dancer’s school had a party for the kids to celebrate Carnevale so I wanted to look put together but also be comfortable enough to keep up with the Tiny Dancer. I’m also a big fan of nautical looks and I wanted to break out my new ruby slippers and I thought they would look great with navy and khaki. Here are the details of my look from top to bottom…
Earrings: Chanel double-c post earrings
Top: H&M striped boat neck tee
Sweater: Uniqlo navy cardigan
Bracelet: Cubannie Links bracelet
Pants: J.Crew Chinos
Shoes: Ferragamo patent leather red flats

Day 2 of PROJECT was Valentine’s Day so I added a little hint of holiday festiveness with my bracelet and my Minx accent nail. As always, my main goal was to stay comfortable and put together as I spend most of the day on my feet. I didn’t wear a necklace because I wear my camera all day and my camera strap is pretty much like a necklace. Here’s a breakdown of my look from head to toe:
Earrings: Chanel hoops
Top: J.Crew sweater
Watch: Chanel Chromatic J12
Bracelet: Louis Vuitton
Jeans: Banana Republic Skinny Jean
Shoes: Chanel patent-leather classic flats
Accent Nail: Minx Nail sticker
Phone: iPhone and Incase Tortoise Shell case

I knew it was going to be a long day under the sun but made sure to pack a light jacket for night time
California’s staple sunny weather has finally hit us. To celebrate, my friends and I headed out to Beat Swapmeet — an outdoor event in downtown LA that features a club full of vinyl records for sale, handmade jewelry, clothing vendors, hip hop themed eats, and a bboy jam my partner and his crew decided to partake in. I usually vend at events like this, but decided to take a step back and support my boys during their battle. Playfully I asked my partner the night before what I should wear and he said, “dress like a bgirl” which I took as fashionable but comfy. So this is what I wore:
Earrings: handmade earrings, Nynes Crew Queens
Ring: wooden ankh ring, own collection
Tank: racerback tank top, Kweenz Destroy
Jacket: Adidas windbreaker on sale, Finish Line
Bottoms: heather grey cotton capris, Forever 21
Shoes: M.I.S.S. x MAMA “ALWAYS A LADY” ADIDAS FINA

A bit of gold on the nails to match the earrings and the sneaks
