Thank-you to all that entered last months Philly Love Contest! Ya’ll really know your Philly based trivia AND came with the cleaver Philly inspired song lyrics. It was a tough decision so we handed it over to the gentlemen of Magick Outlaw to make the final picks based on the following BONUS CHALLENGE:

In the interest of helping us write a song about Philadelphia, write down what you think of when you think about Philadelphia. The only requirements are that it has to be two lines, and the two lines have to rhyme

We’ve teamed up with Philly’s finest: Magick Outlaw, R.E.Load Bag Co., Fabric Horse and Fleathers By Linda Smyth in the “Philly Love Give-Away!”. Being that this is the “Philly Love” contest, our friends have come up with some Philly based trivia, test your knowledge and google skills in finding the correct answers to the following three questions and then impress us with your creativity and ill lyrical talents in coming up with two lines of a song based on Philly. One of our favorite jewelry designers, Linda Smyth of Fleathers, got together with Magick Outlaw to produce her signature leather earrings. The leather features great patterned prints that the Magick Outlaw boys do so well. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite I want them all! The boys of Magick Outlaw have done it again. They’ve managed to take their unique style of illustration and patterns and come up with a new collection that always manages to put a smile on our face. These guys definitely don’t shy away from color and their palette consisted of M.I.S.S. Crew favorites like purple, blue, gray, yellow and green. In addition to t-shirts, the Magick Outlaws have a series of printed waist packs made in collaboration with Fabrichorse. The packs were created, sewn and printed entirely in Philadelphia and are made of denim, waxed canvas and recycled seatbelts. The Pool show has grown a little in size, which explains why the United show has become smaller…Many of the brands that exhibited at United last fall have found their way to Pool. I have to say, their hasn’t been much out their that’s stood out as new and exciting…So, I visited some of our favorite brands and managed a couple of new things…

Oh, how we love 31 Corn Lane!!! They have recently introduced a new “luxury” jewelery line named, Tipton & Downing. Such a rich and regal name, right? But just in case you don’t get the reference, Tipton and Downing are the last names of the two guitar players in Judas Priest….sooooooooo good! This line of lux jewels come in gold and silver tones, retail at $50 to $75 and include names like “Love Measured in Carrots” and “Little Stinker”.
