Before I get to the big kahuna, the motherlode, the full spring preview of the LeSportsac Spring 2010 Classic collection, I’m finishing off the upcoming specialty collections, S and Platinum.

Lesportsac S Spring 2010

The S collection is made up of basic LeSportsac bags; their best selling styles, but upgraded with leather trims and straps, stronger hardwear, and produced in more muted upscale tones. Prices, to be expected are higher, topping off at $190. Springs color palatte is a snakeskin print, khaki, and basic black on black.

Lesportsac Platinum Spring 2010

The Platinum collection, also made up of classic LeSportsac styles, was previously just produced for Holiday delivery and only available in LeSportsac stores and online.  Starting this Spring. the collection is going to be produced every 6 months, and will be available worldwide. The Platinum collection is a slick and shiny metallic look, more fashion forward, and uses more technical fabrics like coated nylon ripstop.

Katharina Leuzinger - LeSportsac Artist In Residence 2010

Following in the tradition of Tokidoki, Fifi Lapin, BFree and Tomokazu Matsuyama, LeSportsac continues their Artist In Residence program with a collection from Swiss-born artist Katharina Leuzinger. Her collection is comprised of 3 different highly detailed house motifs – The City House, Boat House and Tree House, that will be used in varying manners on a variety of classic and special LeSportsac bags and accessories that will be released in Spring and Summer of 2010.

Leuzinger studied Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and is best known for her adorable yet intricate and detailed work featuring animals, monsters and ladies, and has been seen on Poketo tote bags and wallets in the past. You could spend some serious time checking out what’s going on in every nook and cranny of one of her images. This collection of Lesportsac bags will feature some items with the repeating City and Boat House prints, as well as some simpler solid color items with placement prints. Count on seeing some of the fave Classic LeSportsac bags, as well as specialty products like the Snack Sack lunch bag, a hobo bag, special messenger bag, a mini House Pouch and House Pouch key covers.

Lilly Pulitzer For LeSportsac

2010 is looking like a big year for the Lilly Pulitzer brand, which just celebrated it’s 50th anniversary – with a collaboration color palette with M·A·C , and a, multi-piece collection of co-branded classic LeSportsac bags and accessories for Spring 2010. Featuring the vibrant floral prints that Lilly Pulitzer has become well known for over the past five decades, the prints “Purrr-fect Patch” and “She’s A Piston” feature endangered species and as part of the Lilly Pulitzer Lilly Loves Green campaign that kicked off this fall, some of the proceeds from the sales of this collection will go to the World Wildlife Federation.

Only classic LeSportsac styles will be used for this collection of bags, with the exception of two specialty pieces, an umbrella and a garment bag.  “Purrr-fect Patch” collection pieces will be released to LeSportsac and Lilly Pulitzer stores in March of 2010, and “She’s A Piston” styles will hit stores in April.

LeSportsac Patisserie Spring 2010 Collection

I’m sure you’ve noticed that in the past couple of years pastries, cupcakes, and cookies have become quite trendy. They’re cute, they’re tasty, everybody loves em.  Well, a while back LeSportsac invited M.I.S.S. to come down to their showroom and check out their Spring preview of products, which were presented within the LeSportsac Patisserie. You better believe I got my snackery on!

LeSportsac Patisserie Spring 2010 Collection

The Patisserie Collection features an adorable print of cupcakes, candies, cookies, lollipops, teacups, and  just about anything you would expect to find in a quaint and charming patisserie. The items featuring this print will be available in April 2010, and will be available on the Basic Backpack, Page travel case, and a variety of their classic tote and travel bags.
