Keep is one of our favorite footwear brands because they’re in business for the ladies.   Season after season they take their line to a new level - whether it’s new silhouettes, new fabrications or new markets. The ladies recently launched a children’s line in February and they are some of the cutest itty bitty shoes! They’re not your regular kid’s shoes - not childish gimmicks - just clean design shrunken down for the little ones. Keep has also been flipping the sneaker envy. You know how normally with other brands you wish you could get the guys shoes? Well, with Keep, it’s the other way around. Like an savvy business ladies they’re offering the line in larger sizes to accommodate the boys, but here’s the catcher, the boys have to order in women’s sizes! Ha! A little of their own medicine, eh?

For Fall ‘09 Una was inspired by the holidays and the coziness of the season.  One of the new fabrications is moire faille, a textile that has the look and feel of grosgrain ribbon - reminiscent of holiday gift wrapping.  For all those times you want to cozy up to the couch and snack, you can rock the pretzel pattern.  Or, if you’re just going casual their are many chambray and corduroy options, and other menswear inspired fabrics.  On top of it all, Keep is vegan, eco-friendly and animal friendly - that is they don’t harm animals and have recently received PETA sponsorship.  So, not only will you look good wearing these, you can feel good about wearing them too!

Just in time for spring time picnics (almost), Mosley Tribes has released a new style, the Lyndel, a Wayfarer-esque frame with a surprise print - gingham!  The pattern is unexpected on a frame - which is precisely why the Lyndels are so cute!  The come in 3 color options: red, blue and yellow gingham and are a great statement piece - especially if you’re trying to say “let’s head over to the park.”  You can find the Lyndel online at the Keep Webstore.

One of our favorite independent women’s footwear lines, Keep, is expanding their line to include more styles of footwear and more apparel - and we have the pics for you to check it out! One of my favorite collections for Spring 2009 is the Watermelon series (pictured below). The Spring line also includes some great floral prints, pretty plaids, slip on ballet flats and slides. The apparel collection is their largest yet and includes lots of cute cut & sew pieces like sundresses, tops, jackets, leggings, skirtalls and sweat shorts (our fave!). We just caught a glimpse of Keep’s new Fall ‘08 collection and wanted to share! The Keep ladies have you ready for back to school with lots of argyle, cable knits, and prints plus two new styles that are water resistant — the Tatum rainboot and the dressy Dorian with detachable fringe cover.

Nicely said ladies. Keep is having a sale to celebrate the summer solstice!

It’s a sales bonanza! This weekend Keep shoes is hosting a sidewalk sale at their headquarters.  Like they said, the early bird gets the worm so don’t sleep in!

Keep Company has updated their online store to include their first hi-top, the Guerra, in an array of stripes and patterns perfect for hot summer days. Here’s how the ladies describe the Guerra model: “Inspired by an outing with writer, world traveler and raconteur Gigi Guerra, we made a shoe as sleek and slick as the lady herself. Hit the streets and stop complaining about ankle support.” Haha. I definitely love me some hi-tops and the Keep selection has a “so fresh and so clean” look to them that translate so well for the long days of summer. Check out the other colors and styles here.
