When conjuring up thoughts of “heavy hitters” in women’s streetwear, there’s a 95% chance this lady’s name will hit the dome within 3 seconds…and if it doesn’t…well, then you’ve been somehow misinformed.

Aside from reinventing the term “Married To The Mob” (google that, it outranks the 1988 movie!), let us tell you what makes Leah McSweeney a Woman Making History.

M.I.S.S. Randi helps me tell it like this:

Leah McSweeney is one hardcore lady, and the slogans she comes up with for her clothing brand Married to the Mob illustrate this point quite nicely! Among them are “Other Bitches Just Front”, “Money Over Bitches”, “Bitch Better Have My Money”, “DILLIGAF: Do I Look Like I Give a Fuck?”, and “Most Official Bitches Reign Supreme”. While it’s clear no one should mess with Leah, EVERYONE and their mothers were trying to mess with the exclusive Reebook Freestyles she designed with Colette (only 350 pairs produced!) and the Chanel-inspired Nike Dunk Hi Supremes that came complete with MOB lacelocks. M.I.S.S. Crew would like to give a warm shout-out to Leah, who, since 2004, has been committed to make some of the freshest clothing for women out there.

10 years ago MJ debuted his now famous “Mouse Flats” and in celebration he has teamed up with one of our favorite artists KAWS to collaborate on a version of the shoes. In true Kaws style you get the “x’d” out eyes and the scalloped chomped detail around the edge of the shoe. The shoe drops this Monday Sept 29th and will be available at Colette in Paris, Original Fake in Tokyo, and MJ stores in London and the US. With only 200 pairs made . . . we wish you luck! Dover Street Market does it again. They just released some amazing new product that I’m sure folks will be clamoring for including a DSM x Kaws t-shirt, Comme des Garçons Tartan Wallets and the iconic Lewis Leather Motorcycle Jackets re-fabricated in unusual and interesting woven fabrics. As usual, many of these products are exclusive to DSM so you can either get some of the stuff online or you’ll have to go to London town.

This makes me very happy and there are very few things, product wise, that make me happy as of late…as everything is so over-the top and over-exposed and who’s wallet can possibly keep up with all the “cool” stuff that drops so frequently? Really, there was a time when “limited” meant just that and when getting things like BAPE meant going to Japan not your corner store…”Yeah, gimme a 40 of Olde E, a pack of gum and some Bapestas, size 10″, huh? I digress, and obviously have some issues with the current state of certain hyped things, we can talk about that at some other time. Back to what makes me HAPPY!! Comme des Garçons has teamed up with legendary graffiti artist KAWS for a limited edition series of leather wallets, mens & womens t-shirts, wool bags & fragrance sets.
