Straight outta Philly! R.E.Load Baggage company makes custom designed messenger bags. Doing it, doing it and doing it well you don’t need to be a bike messenger or a fixed gear racer to rock these bad-ass bags. They have offerings from the basics to some wild style prints and patterns, like the much anticipated collabo with Magik Outlaw Print Co. (shown above, we here at M.I.S.S. have deff been waiting for this!!) due to drop any day now or you can get up on one of the bags from their Music Tribute Series, like the “Rakim” of Eric B. and Rakim fame or the “Herbie Hancock” (Rock It!).

Today marks the US release of English newcomer Duffy’s Rockferry. I don’t know what’s going on in the UK right now - maybe something in the water - but they are churning out talented ladies left, right and center. Duffy’s raspy voice takes me back to the hey-day of Motown. I’m sure tons of comparisons will be made with La Winehouse but rest assured, Duffy has a sound that is all her own. Her debut CD, Rockferry drops today and if you’re in NYC it’s your lucky day because she’s doing an acoustic in-store performance at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square.
