Blooming from humble beginnings, Rojas has flourished into a line that boasts cutting edge designs, with the celebrity clientele to back it up. From being worn by the likes of M.I.A., Keri Hilson, and Gwen Stefani, Rojas found it’s way to the forefront of the street wear industry, and has been featured in heavy weight publications such as Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily, and Haper’s Baazar.

Founded by LA based designer Freddie Rojas, the brands design foundation rests in creative clothing that is not only forward thinking, but also wearable. Being involved in the fashion industry practically his entire life, Freddie Rojas is skilled in multiple facets of fashion his work, from being a buyer to pattern maker, even dabbling in marketing, has afforded him the unique opportunity to see the fashion world from all the endless angles. This knowledge is what has placed Rojas on the cutting edge of the sports wear industry.

Rojas brand follows a business philosophy in which high aesthetics and fresh design ideas are quintessential. Moreover, every piece of clothing bearing the Rojas logo is designed to be wearable and, without exception, stylish.

Continuing with their forward thinking approach to street wear, for the Spring 2010 season Rojas has take a colorful passage to trends reminiscent of the 90’s with bleached denim one piece jumpers and by adding the tie dye effect to items such as harem pants and hooded tops. These garments uniquely dyed, and in eye catching colors are essentially the signature of a Rojas design. Rojas is definitely the brand to get you noticed on the street, but out of all the items that stood out to me, nothing seemed to compare to the accessory options the company offered. Fringe necklaces, fingerless gloves, lace jackets, and my favorite, the bow tie necklaces adorned with pearls and sequins are pretty much guaranteed to set off any outfit you could put together in your imagination.

Freddie Rojas has spent his entire life in the fashion industry, from his childhood to his Rojas clothing line and boutique.  He knows every aspect of the business from marketing, design, pattern making and production – and it shows in collection after collection. Each season, he creates clothing for men and women that is wearable and effortlessly stylish. He works with and develops new textiles, designs flattering and unique silhouettes and is always ahead of the trends. For Spring/Summer 2009, his inspiration for the collection is Blossom, think floral prints, bustiers, mini-skirts and button-up tops that are longer in the back.  Freddie manages to take a fictional teenager’s innocent look and give it a sexy modern spin that leaves me wanting every piece!  I especially love the pearl necklace/ties – so cute!  The color palatte is black, light blue, violet and mustard yellow with white as the unifying color. All of the pieces coordinate with each other and are perfect for day, night, work and play.
