M.I.S.S. TV: Behind the Scenes of Kid Sister’s “Big ‘N Bad”

Girl crushin' on the Kid!

Girl crushin' on the Kid!

GIRL CRUSH ALERT!

The one, the only Kid Sister is back, dropping the video for her latest single “Big N’ Bad” at the end of last week, and we are soooo crushing on this colorful, big n’ bad summertime video! Shot by famed director Rik Cordero of Three/21 Media, the video features the Chicago based feMC roaming the streets of her city in a short pink romper, a long black jumpsuit, and some A-Morir. Plus, she throws in a rhyme about “bubble butts”. Um, did somebody say PERFECTION?!

Check out a behind-the-scenes video from the Chi-town shoot, also shot by Three/21 Media. And don’t forget to watch the Big N’ Bad video in its full glory!

Lifted Lab Future Beast 2030 AD

We all like to see out fellow chicas making moves right? Exactly. Now, it looks like we have a lady on the rise down in Knoxville, Tennessee. She’s the artsy type, and therefore a great feature for Art Radar. Katie Pilgrim is her name and she’s taken art into her own hands. How do you ask? She started an art collective called Lifted Lab. The Lab consists of 6 visual artists: Bigfoot, Lifter Baron, BerkVisual, Infamous Jean Claude, Grifter, and Zach Widgren. This band of 6 has the art game covered. Their genres range from street to contemporary and they’re making quite a name for themselves. As a matter of fact, they’ll be displaying their work in Brooklyn next week with their art show and after party Future Beast 2030AD. So for all of you art lovers who think the South is only deep fried food and bootie music, stop by the exhibit and peep what Lifted Lab has to offer.

The two brought their talents together to produce 25 instrumentals, t-shirts, logos and graphics which capture the sound and visuals of the 60’s and 70’s, an era that inspires so much of the music we all listen to.
