With each shade named after a different airport code, USLU Airlines nail polish is made to apply smoothly, fill the nail surface, hold well and dry quickly. The glittery goodness that is USLU’s LAS (Las Vegas Airport) polish quickly caught our eye. Perfect for a splash of colour in this cold winter us Aussies are enduring here in the southern hemisphere. 

Shoes, shoes, who doesn’t love shoes? Originally made for ballerinas, french brand Repetto has continued making shoes to appeal to the masses since their first launch in 1947. Their simple and dainty designs are a perfect option for those who have some spare cash to put down on great quality shoes. Colette is featuring various styles to indulge in - our favourites are the Python Ballerina shoes which come in three different colours.

The Lacoste and Zaha Hadid collaboration is one of a kind - ergonomically designed to adapt to the shape of one’s body and crafted in italian calf leather, this shoe comes in both purple and black. These shoes are also a limited edition run exclusive to Colette, with only 850 pairs made in the world.
Tabitha Simmons is also about to release her new collection in the Colette shop, the line features a balanced mix of opened-toed, wedged, stiletto-ed goodness with each pair crafted in leather and exotic skins.

Comme Des Garçons have created a crocodile/python print baby pink leather bag exclusively for Colette - this gorgeous piece is limited edition and they have only made 30 copies, so if you love it, grab it now!

For the more eco-conscious, beautiful model Liya Kebede has launched her own line of  scarves made of 100% cotton. All scarves are manufactured in Ethiopia, Liya’s native country, so upon purchase of one of the gorgeous LemLem pieces you can take pride in the fact that your money is being used to drive economy and create jobs in a third world country.

Australian company Zip Zip has created a very cute building brick USB key. It’s a piece of lego with a USB stick inside!Rejoice! A practical, funny little 8GB gift.

A couple months back we told you about Sneaker Freaker’s First Lady MAFIA’s new gig blogging over at The Vine. She’s been informing and entertaining us for a minute now, especially when it comes to giving the ladies as much of the spotlight as the guys.

This week she’s compiled a list of her fave female sneaker collabs so far - and you know if MAFIA’s a fan of these they gotta be the goods! Polaroid Two Instant Digital Camera

Everyone’s got a Polaroid memory: a snapshot from a wild party, sitting on Santa’s lap as a kid, the first car you ever bought, or a photo of your childhood puppy.  But with the rise of digital cameras over the last decade, the once in vogue instant film camera has fallen by the wayside.  Polaroid ended production of the iconic device years ago, and they stopped making film for it last year, too.  Nobody’s shaking it “like a Polaroid picture” anymore.  But that’s all set to change with arrival of the Polaroid Two, Polaroid’s attempt at updating a classic for the new generation of snapshot photographers.

The Polaroid Two is a five-megapixel digital camera featuring a built-in printer.  Like the original Polaroid, the Polaroid Two lets you snap pictures and dispenses 2×3-inch, full-color, peel-off, sticky-backed photos in less than a minute at a magazine quality resolution of 300 dpi.  It uses ZINK Imaging’s Zero Ink technology to bake crystals into the specially treated paper, which dries practically as soon as it is printed.  Photos can be cropped or adorned with funky borders before printing, or they can be stored to an SD card like a traditional digital camera.

You can get about 15 prints off before the battery runs out, and new sheets of ZINK paper to continue printing on won’t come cheap.  Still, for those looking to rekindle their love affair with Polaroid and instant film, this looks like the way to go.  It’s available now at Colette in France for roughly $332.

Not everyone can rock a tutu successfully, in fact the last time you probably saw someone wear one that wasn’t remotely tacky was Carrie Bradshaw in the opening sequence of Sex and the City. Come April 9th at noon, you’ll have the opportunity to don a tutu, but be warned, it won’t be a regular lace and tulle number, in fact it’s not made out of either of these materials. And this tutu won’t even be worn around your waist. Curious?

We thought so. The Kaiser himself, Karl Lagerfeld, has collaborated with Repetto, a brand started by Rose Repetto who created the company’s first ballet slipper over 60 years ago. Lagerfeld put his design skills to work and has created the ‘Cabaret.’ One version of the shoe will be heeled, while another pair are flats. The ‘Cabaret,’ in true Lagerfeld fashion, will be available in black or white (both in patent leather). The shoe is adorned with a patent leather tutu, which can be removed as you see fit (or just depending on your mood that day). On April 9th at noon, the shoes will be available at Paris style staple colette.

The Lagerfeld collaboration with Repetto is by no means the brand’s first high-fashion partnership. In 2000, the brand completed a stint with Issey Miyake, followed soon after by a partnership with Commes de Garcons. If we’re accurate in predicting the success these shoes will have, you can look forward to more Repetto designer collaborations in the near future.

When conjuring up thoughts of “heavy hitters” in women’s streetwear, there’s a 95% chance this lady’s name will hit the dome within 3 seconds…and if it doesn’t…well, then you’ve been somehow misinformed.

Aside from reinventing the term “Married To The Mob” (google that, it outranks the 1988 movie!), let us tell you what makes Leah McSweeney a Woman Making History.

M.I.S.S. Randi helps me tell it like this:

Leah McSweeney is one hardcore lady, and the slogans she comes up with for her clothing brand Married to the Mob illustrate this point quite nicely! Among them are “Other Bitches Just Front”, “Money Over Bitches”, “Bitch Better Have My Money”, “DILLIGAF: Do I Look Like I Give a Fuck?”, and “Most Official Bitches Reign Supreme”. While it’s clear no one should mess with Leah, EVERYONE and their mothers were trying to mess with the exclusive Reebook Freestyles she designed with Colette (only 350 pairs produced!) and the Chanel-inspired Nike Dunk Hi Supremes that came complete with MOB lacelocks. M.I.S.S. Crew would like to give a warm shout-out to Leah, who, since 2004, has been committed to make some of the freshest clothing for women out there.

After the success of their first nail polish collabo, Uslu Airlines brings us a fresh line with German designer Bernhard Willhelm. Known for his eclectic mix of clashing colours and prints the designer has drawn inspiration from his latest menswear collection.

As with previous releases, the shades are again named after airport destinations – all based and named after the ski worldcup theme of Bernhard Willhelm’s last mens’ collection: Innsbruck (olive for INN), Grenoble (blue for GNB) and St. Moritz (orange for SMV).

Sophisticated yet fun, they’re not the bright candy colours we’re used to seeing coming up to spring, but will still make for a smoking mani. Available from Colette and Uslu Airlines.

Barbie has had quite the anniversary buzz celebrating her big 5-0. And who could do it better than the always glamorous lady herself? From fashion shows that have honored the four decade glam doll to deluxe items designed in admiration of her success, I have got to say being plastic pays off.

If you happen to be in Paris, France March 9th-28th check out Barbie’s birthday celebration at Colette. At this boutique will be all things that credit the bombshell’s success. If it’s anything like a Barbie dream world there has got to be lots and lots of pink oh and a delicious looking Ken!!

Exclusive designs for the Barbie collection by Jeremy Scott and products from Bless, Goyard, Azumi & David, and Uslu Airlines will be available.

Also listed for the anniversary is the release of limited edition products from designers selected by Colette- Married to the Mob, Bruno Frisoni, Alexis Mabille, Barbie Rocks of Beverly Hills, Jawbone, Domestic, and Linda Farrow.

Dylan’s Candy Bar sweets (btw, chocolate is my weakness) and special edition Le Baiser dessert by Laduree will make tasty treats for the celebration!

In honor of International Women’s Day (IWD), which is March 8 of this year, the Lomographic Society and Colette have gotten together to create a new version of the Diana camera for purchase! Fun, right?! Oh…but there’s more! Along with the Diana being revamped, a book full of dreamy flicks and text called The ‘Dianalogues’ has been created to go with it.

Dianalogues Part 1:  Through a Women’s Lens has 28 contributors, all amazing female artists from across the globe…one of them being M.I.S.S. Crew lady friend, Claw Money!

The book comes out on March 2 and if you happen to be in Paris, Colette has a special Lomo gallery in its store displaying some of the ‘Dianalogues’ photos for all eyes to see.

Colette is easily one of the best curated boutiques in the world so it should come as no surprise that they have a host of products perfect for expressing your love (or like, or crush, or whatever) this coming Valentine’s Day.  From Uslu Airlines polishes and lip glosses in the perfect reds and pinks, a heart shaped mouse that says “I Love You” every time you click it, and a stamp that burns “I Love You” into your toast, Colette has something to bring a little love and light into a day that can sometimes cause sadness.  Some of my favorite pieces are purely for Valentine’s Day though - Marc Jacobs’ collection just happens to be built around hearts.  His dress of cascading hearts is adorable and the pants and the ballet flats are too cute!  All of these Valentine’s Day goodies, as well as a many more, are available at Colette and here on the Colette website.

And black satin, and magenta and green and pink and even a limited Colette exclusive blue. The much anticipated and even somewhat hated (I would not be one of those haters) Sergio Rossi x Puma collaboration collection is set to drop this January 26th at Colette. The Italian brand teamed up with Puma to up-date Puma’s iconic “Clyde” sneaker which first came on to the scene in 1973. The collection is the perfect combination of sexy meets sneaker. Satin covered classic “Clyde’s” and a high heeled version that takes us back to the early 90’s, this is a collection not to be missed. Where my chiffon baby doll dress at?!?!?
