Burton and Nylon Magazine hook it up with an event this Wednesday - chock full of music, shopping, food, drinks, prizes and giveaways at the Burton Flagship store in NYC.

Burton has received some great new women’s pieces just in time for fall & winter - whether you spend your time on the slopes or in the city. Many of the pieces were created with input from Burton’s team of riders so you know that in addition to being cute, they’ll be comfy and functional.  I especially love the stlized thermal top and the shrunken “grandpa” sweater.  They look so warm I wish I were wearing them right now (it got so cold so quickly!). Also check out the DRYRIDE outerwear (pictured after the jump) that “infuses technical weatherproofing applications into street-styled pieces to keep you bone dry inside and out no matter what you have on the agenda.” So well put. Missbehave is curating a Pop-Up shop on Karmaloop.com and it will feature tons of exclusive product including collaborations with Hellz Bellz and Steven Shein. The shop will include the following brands: Tripp NYC, Burton, MOB, 10 feet, Cubannie Links, Rojas, Hellz Bellz, Harajuko, Creative Recreation, Dr Marten, WeSC, Insight, Peggy Noland, Made Me, Dime Piece, Brain Lichtenberg, Nails Did, Neighborhood and Steven Shein. No word yet on the exact date the shop is opening but it’s coming soon! We’ll keep you posted.

B by Burton is a new addition to Burton’s line and was designed by a team of rider’s keeping their love of snowboarding alive and displaying their passion for progressive styling. This collection is full of fresh design and practicality that set the trends on the mountain, at the beach, and in the city. The collection is now available at Burton flagship stores and online.

Linda Nguyen is only 26 but her resumé reads like that of a veteran of the fashion industry. The Orange County, native is currently the women’s designer at Burton, the director of the Ladies Lotto Los Angeles chapter and is the founder/designer, event producer, graphic designer,and ninja for Lovemade—an events company and creative collective who supports other female professionals.

The ladies of Lovemade work on a variety of projects ranging from fashion styling, consulting, events, graphic/apparel design, and music. The team consists of designers, make-up artists, hair stylists, marketing/event coordinators, djs, photographers, and fashion consultants.
