This weekend Brooklyn Bodega, along with High Water Music, powerHouse Books and Brooklyn Brewery, presents the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival with a line-up of different events this Friday and Saturday. This is a great way to spend the weekend - check for a schedule of events after the jump.
The 3rd Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, taking place over five days in June, announced Ghostface as its 2007 headliner at the final event, the June 23rd concert at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Entering its 3rd year, the Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival is a celebration of Hip Hop music and culture, and the borough of Brooklyn as a premier cultural destination. A free event, the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival is an all ages event featuring the best in legendary performers as well as showcasing Hip Hop’s brightest new talent.
In partnership with the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, The powerHouse Arena announces a series of exciting events taking place throughout the month of June. Celebrating the hip-hop movement through soul music, film, and photography, this year’s programming is the most comprehensive yet.
