Delman Shoes

If it’s good enough for Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, and Katherine Hepburn, it MUST be good enough for you, right? These three fashion icons have rocked Delman Shoes in the past, and now it’s your turn! The newest styles released by the brand (a brand which has been around since 1918) are extremely sexy but still look ridiculously wearable at the same time. Our favorites include: Makayla in Red, Jules in Fuschia, Jane, Greer, and Geri, for that beginning-of-summer date that you just landed. Oh, and the Santee are good for by the pool or “by the beeeaach” as they say in the movie Half Baked.

The brand is available at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, Endless.com, and are occasionally featured on Gilt Groupe if you can catch ‘em on time.

STRANGEBEAUTIFUL is the newest speciality nail color company to produce a library of non-toxic nail polish. Unlike other nail laquers, STRANGEBEAUTIFUL was created around the concept of nail color as an accessory, one with a rich hue, deeply saturated and much more than just plain old nail polish.  Their creative approach to nail color is inspired by things ranging from Ettore Sottass‘s red valentine typewriter to Josef Albers’ color theory.  Each season, a new library of color will be created, only to be replaced the following season with new must have colors.  The STRANGEBEAUTIFUL color library is packaged and sold as a set exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman for $79.  I’m loving the atypical color range and the fact that the set is sold as a “library of color.”  The fact that it’s non-toxic, makes it even more appealing.  And, as far as luxury nail color, the price isn’t bad either for 8 colors.  I can’t wait to get this set!

Lanvin has teamed up with Acne Jeans to launch a denim capsule collection this November at Barney’s and Bergdorf Goodman.  The collection includes the ubiquitous “jean” as well as “dress, tuxedo jacket, belted trench, [and] blouson,” as well as accessories, including “denim bags, stilettos, earrings and even medallion necklaces.”  When asked how it was to work with Acne, Alber Elbaz the designer of Lanvin stated:  “I was very pleased when I started working with Acne. They’re just young, energetic sexy Swedes and our partnership really wasn’t about signing hardcore contracts, it was really just about creating about something that was mutually fun and creative.”  As you can imagine, the collection is pricey.  Jeans are over $500, coats start at $1200 and accessories start over $1500.  Start putting away those pretty pennies for the drop in November.
