Turn it on its side and flip through albums with Cover Flow.” Wow. It’s like it can read your mind - quite, well, Genius! The Nano has an updated curved aluminum and glass design and come in And, it comes in a rainbow of nine colors. I love the purple and the charcoal grey. The Nano is available in stores now and here!

Mobile Me: Working on Cloud 9

mobile me

I love “organization” I have several notebooks, a giant desk calendar, a laptop, a desktop and a smart phone to help me keep life and work in order. Sadly, I’m still not as organized as I’d like to be. Scheduled events and contacts don’t make their way into the phone or calendar or get jotted down in a hurry in the wrong notebook. What to do? Apple is introducing a product called Mobile Me that will make these problems a thing of the past!

Mobile Me is “[a] new service for your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC . . . . [that] pushes your email, contacts, and calendar events to your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC.” It works like this: Email, contacts and calendar information are stored on a “cloud” - make an update on one device, and the cloud updates all of your devices. No more docking or syncing! This is the future! The service includes an “ad-free suite of web applications” that are accessible anywhere and a great way to share photos or large files. The “cloud” is a rather big one with a hefty 20gb of storage. Mobile Me will be available soon and you can sign up here to be notified when it launches. Learn more about how it will rock your world and take the guided tour here.  Organization, here I come!

My Two Cents: The Prettiest Best Sounding Ad Ever

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

I was watching Top Chef last night and I had the pleasure of viewing an iTunes ad that I have never seen before.  The ad features Coldplay and promotes their new album called Viva La Vida out on June 17th.  I instantly recognized Chris Martin’s voice, but what really did it for me was the visuals.  It was beautiful.  Graphically, it moved with the artists and illustrated the music but, most importantly, was still recognizable as an Apple product.  I could go on and on about how pretty it was but you should just see for yourself if you already haven’t.  And for your Coldplay fans, if you go to iTunes now, you can pre-order Viva La Vida now.

Again & Again & Again & Again…

Some genius took the track “Again & Again” by the Bird & the Bee and created the mind blowing video below:

This is the original video:

Your education lasts a lifetime. Your discount doesn’t.

If you’re a gal on a budget like myself, then I’m sure you appreciate it when you can buy luxury items without breaking your bank.  Despite my microscopic budget, I still manage to buy myself something nice whenever I excel in school or just to cheer myself up every now and then…

My point: Apple is having a promotional discount for all of us broke students (new or old), teachers, and staff.

How great is this deal? A new laptop, printer, iPod, TV, software or more…you decide! I got my first MacBook, iPod, and printer with this discount…It was a great investment.

Thinnovation: Apple Introduces MacBook Air

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

With the Mac Expo going on now in San Francisco, we’re starting to hear about lots of new amazing product that Apple is introducing. Yesterday I saw the ad for MacBook Air and it’s amazing. If you travel a lot for work, or are lugging your laptop everywhere you go like me, then this is the computer for you. It’s the “world’s thinnest notebook” and can fit into an envelope! Gone are the days when you almost rip your bags because your laptop is too big and bulky. And it’s not just thin, the design is beautiful and the MacBook Air has new wireless based applications that come in handy. See for yourself, watch the video here.
