Linda Nguyen is only 26 but her resumé reads like that of a veteran of the fashion industry. The Orange County, native is currently the women’s designer at Burton, the director of the Ladies Lotto Los Angeles chapter and is the founder/designer, event producer, graphic designer,and ninja for Lovemade—an events company and creative collective who supports other female professionals.

The ladies of Lovemade work on a variety of projects ranging from fashion styling, consulting, events, graphic/apparel design, and music. The team consists of designers, make-up artists, hair stylists, marketing/event coordinators, djs, photographers, and fashion consultants.

If you are in LA, or anywhere near LA, you need to go to American Rag this weekend for the the first-ever Bijules/American Rag Trunk Show Series. Come meet, greet, and purchase Bijules January 12 and 13 at two separate American Rag locations. Saturday welcomes you to the 160 S. La Brea American Rag retail store and Sunday will showcase the OC location at Fashion Island, 953 Newport Center Drive. From 2-6pm you will be able to view and buy all Bijules on display!

Doc Marten’s is celebrating the return of their Originals Collection with parties at American Rag SF and LA. The San Francisco event takes place this Friday, Nov. 9th. This event promises great art, music, free drinks and a chance to raise money for 826 National. This organization is a family of seven nonprofit organizations helping students, ages 6-18, with expository and creative writing.
