Fila Fiamma Release For Women

Last year we saw the release of the Fila ‘Fiamma’ running sneaker in collaboration with Alife Rivington Club. This pack consisted of the ‘Fiamma’ sneaker in three different colourways, all of which were for men! For spring 2010, Fila are set to release the ‘Fiamma’ sneaker in five colourways as a part of the lifestyle division: strictly targeting the ladies this time around! Based on the ‘Fiamma Racer’, a performance shoe from the 90s, the soon to be released ‘Fiamma’ sneaker has been given a fresh update for 2010 whilst maintaining the classic silhouette.  With colourways to suit everyone – albeit simply grey or wild and out purple/yellow/black – this is one all round shoe to suit all your needs.

A wide assortment of T-shirts, sweatshirts, headwear, footwear and accessories from the past 6 seasons will be on sale with discounts ranging from 50-80% off.

You’re probably wondering why we reviewed Alife shoes – “Don’t they just make men’s shoes?”  We thought so too.  But, we were quick to learn that Alife has been listening to the legions of “little feet” ladies.  We were ecstatic to learn that for Fall 09, Alife has sized all of their shoes down to a size 4 – roughly a women’s 5.5! Which is great news because the Fall 09 lineup is a sneaker dream come true.

One of my favorite things about Alife shoes is the simple, clean design.  Classic silhouettes with special fabrications and details are what make these shoes stand out.  There’s a great mix of colors – bold brights and primary colors for those not afraid of color and a healthy dose of neutrals for those who keep it more low key.  If you’re into logos, there’s styles covered in logos, and if flash is not your style, there are many styles where the branding is minimal and the shoes speak for themselves.  Certain applications popular for Fall 09 include perforation, waterproofing, and special uppers like tweed.  I really love the clean lines of the shoes – they are exactly the kind that I would wear everyday.  And now, because they’re sized down, I can!

ALIFE collaborated with Italian sunglass manufacturer RETROSUPERFUTURE to create a custom frame with matching custom lenses.

Every pair of SUPER sunglasses is hand-made in Italy and features Carl Zeiss lenses.  A total of 480 pairs of ALIFE SUPER sunglasses were produce in four colors. Red, Blue, and Purple are limited to 80 pairs per color.

Married to the M.O.B. teamed up with Colette to produce a co-branded Reebok Freestyle High. The shoe features a white leather upper with the MTTM Lips Logo printed all-over, a translucent pink outsole with the MTTM Lips Logo visible through the outsole, and a keychain.

Only 300 pairs of the shoe were produced, and more than two-thirds of the pairs have already been sold by Married to the M.O.B. and Colette. ALIFE is proud to be the only retailer in North America to be able to offer these shoes.

The remaining pairs of the Married to the M.O.B. x Colette x Reebok Freestyle High will be available in very limited quantities this weekend at ALIFE NYC, ALIFE LA and ALIFE Vancouver.
