Sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg is gearing up once again for another ASICS collaboration. As a sneaker lover, I have swooned and sweater over previous Ronnie Fieg x ASICS releases and have only been able to snag one pair. The next pair on my radar is the Gel Lyte V “Volcano.” The upper on these are a combination of suede, nubuck and mesh in varying shades of red, burgundy and pink. The orange ASICS symbol on the side of the shoe is an awesome shade of orange. An October 25 release has been confirmed and you can only cop these babies at Kith retailers or the brand’s online store.
Right on cue holiday sneaker releases are starting to drop, and the latest Vans x Liberty Art Fabrics collaboration is one of my favorites. The London fashion house has revealed five Liberty prints on the Vans Era 59, Authentic, Sk8-Hi Reissue and ladies only Sk8-Hi Slim.
The signature Liberty Hera is the oldest print in the pack so its only right it is featured on the Authentic. The pattern, in both red and blue tones, pops perfectly against the white rubber outsole of the Vans classic silhouette.
First printed for Liberty in 1967, the Ianthe fabric is featured on Sk8-Reissue. Its royal blue upper and premium leather sidestriping are complemented by intricate, almost tribal, print. The Era 59 gets double the attention in the collection. It comes in both the Capel floral print and the speckled Melly motif. The lady friendly Sk8-Hi Slim rounds out this holiday season’s capsule collection. The slimmed-down Vans classic highlights Liberty’s Ditsy Floral in a fuchsia and black color way.
The Vans x Liberty Art Fabrics collection retails for $60 – $70 USD and is now available at Vans retail locations, at the Vans online store and the one and only Liberty of London on Regent Street.

There is one word to describe the first-time collaboration between Converse and French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. Breathtaking. These shoes are more than footwear. They are literally wearable works of art. The collection includes the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Jack Purcell sneakers, each completely hand-painted in Maison Martin Margiela’s iconic white paint. Initially, the paint will cover all canvas, eyelets, laces and soles, but over time they naturally crack and shed their outer coat of paint to reveal the original shoe colors beneath. Genius! The styles are available in four color ways based on heritage colors from the Converse archives: red, black, navy, and Margiela-exclusive vintage yellow.
The sneakers will be available for purchase globally in September at Margiela stores, and at select Converse First String retailers for a suggested retail is $200USD.

The wedge sneaker trend is in full swing and Reebok is finally taking advantage. Soulful songstress Alicia Keys chose the silhouette as the signature shoe for her fall 2013 Reebok collection. The two sneaker line features the A. Keys Wedge, a fusion of the Freestyle and Chi-Kaze, and the Freestyle Hi Wedge A. Keys Reptile. Stepping away from the traditional colorway idea, Reebok changed it up and introduced the idea of shoe themes. The A Keys Wedge comes in 4 themes: Reptile, Tribal, Military and Crocodile.
Interested in purchasing a pair of these limited edition kicks? All of the styles will be available in September at Nordstrom stores, Nordstrom.com and Reebok.com.
Paris fashion brand KENZO is known for its colorful prints and cooky patterns. Its Fall/Winter 2013 is no different. Drawing inspiration from the celestial, KENZO creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have chosen three prints (flying tigers, lightning and clouds) for its new collection. In what has almost become fashion tradition these heavenly KENZO prints with the translated onto a series of Vans silhouettes: the Slip-On, Authentic and, for the first time, the Chukka. The fifth installment of the KENZO x Vans signature footwear collection is now available at Kenzo stores, Kenzo.com and at select retail partners including Opening Ceremony, Colette, IT, Browns, Antonia and Holt Renfrew.
