M.I.S.S. Techcessories – HP Envy x2 Combines a Laptop with a Tablet

If a laptop and a tablet had a baby together, that baby would be the HP Envy x2.

The Envy x2 combines a tablet with a fully functional keyboard dock.  The tablet features a vivid, 11.6 inch HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles and a LED backlit display.   Under the hood there’s a dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 chipset, two gigabytes of RAM, and 64 gigabytes of storage space.  In back there’s an 8.0 megapixel camera, and on the side of the tablet there’s a microSD card slot.  The device even includes dual speakers utilizing Beats Audio technology as well as near field communication (NFC), which allows the tablet to communicate with other devices through tapping.  The dock, meanwhile, has two USB ports, HDMI output and a full-size SD slot, as well as another battery that extends the life of the Envy x2.  Magnets and a mechanical latch keep the tablet and the dock from getting separated from each other.

The HP Envy x2 is available at HP’s online store and other retailers now for $699.99.
