There you are, sleeping in bed when…BAM! You’re struck with an idea so great, so creative, so absolutely brilliant that it must be captured somehow! You could use pencil and paper, but that’s so 20th century. Thankfully there’s Google Keep to satisfy your note taking needs.
Google Keep is an Android only app that allows you to make and organize notes (text, audio, photos) that are automatically stored online and can be viewed on various devices. It features a simple layout that makes it easier to make quick notes as well as checklists. Notes can be given different background colors and arranged as small squares on Keep’s home screen, and old or unimportant ones can be swiped away into the archives. Should you need to recall your old notes, that can be found by using the app’s built in live search feature.
Keep (no pun intended) in mind that Google Keep is only compatible with the the (refreshing and delicious) Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android. If your device is running that, feel free to download the app for free from the Google Play Store.
