As part of H&M’s Conscious campaign and in time for Earth Day, all H&M stores now offer garment recycling collection services. Any one can bring up to 2 shopping bags of clothes a day – any piece of clothing, from any brand, in any condition is welcome. For each bag of clothing that you bring in and donate to H&M, you will receive 1 voucher for 15% off 1 item of your choice (limit two bags per day).
To kick things off right, if you donate before March 31st you will receive a special ticket that will bump up your discount to 15% Off Your Entire Purchase and offer you a chance to win many multiple prizes. To find out more visit hmconscious.com.
To show you my support for the H&M Long Live Fashion campaign, I’ve done my own un-haul and I’m sharing some tips for when to let things go…
-If it doesn’t fit anymore, let it go.
-If you haven’t worn it in at least a year, let it go.
-If it’s super trendy and not in style anymore (and probably won’t be for a while), let it go.
-If it needs some TLC (missing button, mending), and you’re not going to give it the love it needs, let it go.
-If your tastes have changed and you just don’t like something anymore, let it go.
If you want to get involved in this great cause, take a picture or video of yourself doing your own un-haul and giving your donation to H&M and tag it #LongLiveFashion. Don’t let fashion go to waste.
