M.I.S.S. Techcessories – HTC Droid DNA

With the holidays upon us once again, all your favorite gadget companies are readying their big guns in order to get you to give up your hard earned “chedda”.  Got a Verizon subscriber in need of a new smartphone?  HTC’s got you covered.  They’ve just launched the Droid DNA, a gigantic Android phone packing a beautiful display and a number of impressive audio enhancements.

“Bigger is better” is the mindset of smartphone designers these days, and the Droid DNA definitely adheres to that philosophy.  It’s got a massive five inch Super LCD3 display with true HD resolution that should totally give all of your tiny phone owning friends “screenis” envy.  Under the hood there’s a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, and Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+.  All of that powers the phone’s 8MP camera with wide angle lens and 1080 HD video capture, 2.1MP front facing camera that also records HD video, and all the usual built in apps you’ve come to expect on an Android phone.

But the real reason to get this phone is for the innovations in audio.  The Droid DNA features Beats Audio, a 2.55v built in headset amplifier, and a dedicated rear speaker amp that provides minimal distortion at the highest volume levels.  This is great news to anyone who loves watching movies and listening to music at high volumes to drown out all the weirdos trying to holla at you in the street.  There’s also Verizon LTE, quad band GSM for all the world travelers out there, UMTS, and and every band of Wi-Fi imaginable.

The HTC Droid DNA is available now on Verizon Wireless for $199 on a two year contract.
