It’s that time of year when everything around gets awash in a shade of pink to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. You can pretty much find any product you currently use in pink in October but I came across a truly unique collaboration that I wanted to share.
Nelson Piquet Jr.’s Chevy Silverado will carry a unique Breast Cancer Awareness livery on October 6th as he takes on the rest of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers at Talladega Superspeedway. Claw Money has teamed up with Alpinestars to emblazon Nelson Piquet Jr.’s truck with bold pink graphics referencing breast cancer awareness and Claw’s eponymous mark.
Claw Money stated:
I am always looking for new ways to apply my art and spread my message in a new context or medium, so this project was a win/win. Seeing my work executed in a racing context and speeding around the Talladega Superspeedway…I can’t wait…It’s been great and I look forward to seeing what kind of contributions we can bring to the fight against breast cancer.
To mark the occasion Claw Money also designed a t-shirt and racing suit. The truck’s hood, die cast models of the truck and T-shirts will be available for auction shortly following the race through E-bay Giving Works, with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
This is one of the most unique campaigns I’ve seen to spread the message of breast cancer awareness and it goes to show that Claw Money’s claw paw looks good on just about anything!
