The Native spring-summer 2013 collection is a celebration of summer and with a look book shot in Brazil, we know exactly the kind of hot, hot, heat their feeling. Rather than introduce new silhouettes, Native is now playing with new colors, patterns and fabrications. One of my favorite new parts of the line are the printed shoes featuring classic prints like nautical stripes and polka dots.
Different weights of materials are now being used on the shoes with soles being a heavier weight and some soles even have a gum sole for a bit of color contrast. And speaking of color contrasts, some shoes have a pop of color with the sole being an accent color – those shoes are particularly fun (and that seems to be a huge trend for spring 2013!).
If you need your Native fix before spring-summer 2013 check out the last pic of the new Cromwell and Jimmy boot offerings for winter. You’ll be able to find those new styles come January.
Finally, you should check out this new video series Native has put together called, appropriately enough, “The Natives”, which features people across the world, each selected for their creativity, uniqueness and innovation, showcasing them in their natural environment.
