Lancôme Super Serums - Génifique and Visionnaire

lancome super serums
From the beginning of time people have been in search of the Fountain of Youth and while we still haven’t found it, we’ve been able to slow the process with some help. If there is one thing that I’ve learned, and will pass on to my daughter, it’s that it is never too early to start moisturizing. As we get older it takes a bit more than just moisturizer - we also need the help of super serums. As I’m getting further from thirty and closer to forty, I’m realizing this first hand.

lancome super serums

Lancôme has created your perfect partners for younger-looking skin - a duo of their most powerful anti-aging products. The two step process is very simple. First, there’s the Génifique Concentrate, Lancôme’s award-winning activating serum targeting radiance, vibrancy and softness. Génifique will give you visibly younger skin in just 7 days. All you do is apply one to three drops of Génifique to cleansed skin.

Next, you apply Visionnaire, Lancôme’s award-winning correcting serum. In just 4 weeks, Visionnaire radically improves the appearance of wrinkles, pores and uneven texture, leaving your skin visibly transformed. The result: One out of two women tempted by a cosmetic procedure such as hyaluronic acid, laser or chemical peeling decided to postpone it. After you apply Génifique follow with two pumps of Visionnaire when layering, prior to applying your Lancôme moisturizer. For best results, use Génifique and Visionnaire together in both the morning and evening.

I’m definitely trying to avoid acid, lasers and peels anywhere near my face so starting out with Lancôme Super Serums is the most cost-effective and least invasive way to get younger looking skin. I know these serums can seem too good to be true so Lancôme is offering a coupon to receive a free sample of the Super Serums so you can try them for yourself simply by visiting the Lancome Super Serums microsite. You may not find the fountain of youth, but you can fool everyone into thinking you did.

Nina Sky New Album & “Heartbeat” Official Video

nina sky nicole and natalie

Natalie and Nicole - the dynamic duo twins who make up Nina Sky - are coming back with a second album next week appropriately titled “Nicole & Natalie”. At the end of last week they dropped the official video for the second single called “Heartbeat.” They ladies told Idolator.com:

When we filmed the video for ’Heartbeat,’ we knew we wanted it to be more about the feeling of the song and less about the story. The colors, environment, and everyone dancing in their own element creates this surreal feeling of freedom. It’s just about listening to the rhythm inside you and letting that rhythm guide you.

I’m looking forward to this drop! Stay tuned for the release of “Nicole & Natalie” - in the mean time enjoy the videos below.

She’s Crafty: DIY Fringe Bikini Top

A huge hit this bathing suit season has been the fringed bikini tops. It stays true to the traditional bikini silhouette with an added flirty flare and you can make it at home!

Items needed:
- Bikini top
- Fringe (1/2 - 1 yard)**
- Scissors
- Pins
- Needle/thread or sewing machine

** can be purchased at any fabric store

Step 1: Fold one end of the fringe and align to the top corner of one of the bikini breasts, fasten with a pin.

Step 2: Pin the fringe along the edge until you reach the very end (cut and fold the end before pinning).

Step 3: Sew it up! I realized the edges were thick and a bit hard to get through with a sewing machine especially when you reach the end. It helped to pull out the bottom string (used to tie around our back) so the machine can get closer to the edge of the fringe.

Step 4: (Not necessary if you didn’t take the bikini off the string) Connect the end of the string to a safety pin and push it through the bottom of the bikini seam. Remove the safety pin and tie a knot at the end of the string.

Repeat steps for the other side of the bikini. Happy sun bathing!

Nails Did: Nails Inc Baker Street Swatch and Review

If you love blue polishes as much as I do, Nails Inc. Baker St. is definitely one to check out! This polish has previously made a buzz because it’s the vivid cobalt blue that Beyonce was caught wearing after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy.

Everything from the consistency to application of this polish was on point. The formula was neither too thick nor runny, and the polish dries to an intensely glossy finish-even without a top coat! For my mani, I decided to add some glitz to my tips by accenting my thumb and ring finger with Color Club Jingle Jangle.
