Dear MISSter Simms,
My boyfriend is what you might call a “chubby chaser.” He really loves bigger girls. It’s one of the many reasons why I fell in love with him since I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about maintaining a slim figure. However…since we started dating a couple of years ago, I’ve put on 25 lbs! It’s made me realize how much I liked being smaller as I think I looked a lot better back then. My boyfriend, on the other hand, couldn’t be happier. It’s when tell him that I want to lose weight that he gets the sad, puppy dog look on his face. What should I do?
Frumpy and Plumpy
It sounds like you have the best. boyfriend. EVER! You don’t have to starve yourself. You don’t have to stare longingly at the last piece of fried chicken…you can just snatch it up and inhale it. You don’t even have to worry about your boyfriend leaving you for a thinner, more “classically beautiful” woman! Because all he cares about is your big ol’ donkey.
That said, it is YOUR body and you can do whatever the hell you want with it. He may majorly approve of your curvaceousness now, but you guys did start dating when you were smaller, right, so he should still be as smitten with you when you do eventually lose weight. If all else fails, just tell him that you’ll be able to perform a lot more tricks and be more flexible in the boudoir. No sane, straight male could object to that.
