The Herschel Supply Co. has a long history but the growing trend of American Heritage over the past several years has breathed new life into this brand which creates quality bags and backpacks. Several styles and sizes of totes, backpacks, duffles, small cases and luggage come in an array of fabrics and colors – all very durable without compromising on style. New fabrications for Fall 2012 include ripstop (with black and white checkerboard lining somewhat mimicking the weave of the ripstop) and washed cotton canvas (with pinstripe lining). The washed cotton canvas come in vibrant colors but since they are washed, the colors pop without being overpowering. Camo does well for Herschel so for Fall 2012 they’ve created bags in desert camouflage which also looks a bit like a deconstructed leopard print.
Retail prices for the bags range from $40 to $200 – a great value when you consider the quality and craftsmanship behind each bag. These bags are so cute they make me want to go back to school come Fall – if you are lucky enough to go back to school, or just want to relive your days as an academic, these bags will bring geek chic to a whole new level. You can purchase the bags on The Herschel Supply Co. webstore.
