Glynneth B. is no stranger to jewelry design – she’s been commissioned to create pieces for the likes of John Galliano and Paul Smith and includes Rihanna, JLo and Michelle Obama among her clients. Relaunching her brand in 2009, Glynneth B. has come back in full effect (as we like to say here at MISS) and her pieces have graced the pages of Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar Nylon and Glamour. Not that you need to know about all this pedigree – because the work speaks for itself.
While walking the Project Show there are many, many jewelry lines – but Glynneth B. stood out to me immediately. Perhaps it’s because I like my jewelry big and bold and Glynneth B. jewelry is not for the shy or timid. For Fall 2012, Glynneth B. gives us her Studio 54 collection. Recalling the glamour and excess of the time, the Studio 54 pieces are gorgeous and striking. Standouts include the cuff with attached square ring, large dangling earrings and open necklaces. All the pieces are brass with 24K plating and retail prices start at $95 to $795. You can purchase Glynneth B. jewelry on her webstore or at Bergdorf Goodman and Harvey Nichols.
