The Boneyard Project

the boneyard project

One Word: WOW.

The Boneyard is a graveyard of sorts for retired military aircraft. In a continuing series, The Boneyard Project resurrects these planes by putting them in the hands of contemporary artists. The Pima Air & Space Museum is pleased to announce the opening of Round Trip: Art From The Bone Yard Project on January 28 in Tucson through the end of May 2012. If you’re not going to be in Tuscon at least check out the video below. I’ve always wanted to see The Boneyard but this exhibition is not to be missed!
