It’s not very often ladies run across an all-suede sneaker that they can call their own. Not too flashy and not 100% pink, the blacked-out, all-suede women’s Dunk Low is just what a girl like me needed. The pink branding on the tongue lets the fellas know hands off, but the feminine shade isn’t overpowering on the classic design. The sneakers have dropped in Japan, but there is no final word on a US release. However, you can still cop from Tokyo-based boutique Atmos at their online store. They’re going for around $120 USD.
Simple, cute, and comfy seems to be the name of the game for shoes these days. SUNO, a New York-based women’s brand, took notice. The company recently teamed up with shoe designer Loeffler Randall to come up with a mini sneaker collection. The collection features lace up and slip on styles with vivid patterns covering the entire upper of the shoe. Each pair retails for $65, and a portion of the profits go to a good cause. SUNO supports the David Shedrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenyan Orphanage for baby elephants and rhinos. An adorable pair of sneakers and helping infant animals – sounds like a win-win to me.
SUNO sneakers come in sizes 5-11 and can be purchased at either the SUNO online store or at over 60 retailers worldwide, including Barneys New York, Opening Ceremony, Ikram, Browns Focus, and Lane Crawford.
