Get ready for more cuteness overload ladies - it’s Hello Kitty’s birthday month! Right off the tail of two adorable collaborations with tokidoki and FriendsWithYou, Hello Kitty’s ubiquitous face will appear on more merchandise. Hello Kitty has collaborated with Nooka to create a streamlined white watch: The limited edition watch features Nooka’s patented Zirc display with a silk screen printed Hello Kitty graphic on a white polyurethane band. The collaborative piece will retail for $130 USD and is available on the Nooka webshop.
If watches aren’t your style, then I’m sure you’ll like something from the NEIVZ collaboration of limited-edition jewelry featuring Sanrio favorites.. The jewelry is constructed from Plexiglas, acrylic, and birch and is available in a rainbow of pop colors and sparkling metallics. The NEIVZ jewelry collaboration is available at select Sanrio Boutique stores, specialty retailers including Karmaloop, 80’s Purple, Kitson and Moxsie and on www.sanrio.com.
Finally, to commemorate Hello Kitty’s birthday on November 1, artist Jason Mecier made this portrait of Hello Kitty. If you look closely you’ll see that the portrait is made up of many, many Hello Kitty products. If you like the poster it can be yours!
