When H&M announced that their fall designer collection would be a collaboration with Versace our hearts skipped a beat. Since the announcement we have been biting our nails in anticipation, with only weeks to go before the release H&M has shared the look book and pictures of the entire collection. The collection is colorful, bold and very Versace. The Versace for H&M collection features a pallet comparable to that of the Versace Fall Winter 2011/2012 Ready-to-Wear collection, yellow, blues, ruby red, and gold.
In addition to bright colors and fun prints, the collection plays with shapes incorporating sinuous silhouette with an accentuated waist, slits, flat folds and pleated skirts similar to the shapes featured in the Versace Ready-to-Wear Collection. The Versace for H&M ladies collection boasts 47 pieces including dresses, pants, jackets, shoes, and accessories inspired by classic pieces that have made the house of Versace legendary. The ladies collection, along with a full men’s collection and home accessory line, are set to hit stores on November 19th. So ladies get your sleeping bags ready because this collection promises to be THE collection of this season.
