M.I.S.S. Beauty Tip Of The Week: Disco Inferno!

As the leaves start changing color and it comes time to start breaking out your extensive collection of turtlenecks from the attic, you may be inclined to spruce up your makeup routine for this fall. If that is the case, then boy do I have the perfect cosmetic line for you this season! Many fashion-forward readers may know Tom Ford from his impressive work as the creative director at Gucci and YSL from 1994-2004, when he saved the houses from bankruptcy. However, since leaving his position at the fashion houses he has gone on to create a luxe line of products under his eponymous TOM FORD brand. In 2005, Ford joined forces with Estee Lauder and launched the TOM FORD beauty brand.

This fall marks the seventh anniversary of the beauty line and it has released and inspired set of looks, colors and cosmetics for this autumnal season. The over all look is opulent, modern glamour with heavy sex appeal and the return of  bright colors. This campaign no doubt is channeling the style and beauty icons of the disco era – faces like Bianca Jagger, Lauren Hutton, and Gia Carangi.

These products are sure to give new life to any woman’s cosmetic arsenal. In addition to the perks of purchasing such a high-end product line, TOM FORD beauty also boasts a seal of approval from PETA. That means no bunnies were harmed while making the products and the brand is cruelty-free.

This release couldn’t have come at a better time, with the one night only return of Studio 54 right around the corner. Gals can achieve the looks that originally made the 70s disco a fashion and beauty mecca. That’s right – in conjunction with Sirius XM’s new ‘Studio 54’ radio station, the club will open its doors up for the first time in twenty-five years on Tuesday, October 18th.
