A versatile pair of sneakers is up there with finding the perfect lipgloss or foundation. It’s hard to do, but once you get your hand on that magical item you are a loyal customer. I’ve felt this way about Diadora for a while! The Italian company has been around since the 1940s and makes all type of athletic products. Despite their success in the area, they didn’t touch the sneaker market until the 70s. Fortunately for loyal customers like myself the 30 year delay resulted in a high quality product encased in a classic shilouette.
I haven’t actually saw a pair of Diadoras on a sneaker store shelf in years, so I was shocked to run into a post on EU Kicks regarding the brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Guess who’s bizzack! The sneakers I was once obsessed with is bringing back the styles that made me fall in love with them in the first place. The Queen 70 and Elite 71 back on shelves? Oh snap!
There isn’t a release date on these beauties quite yet, but keep your eyes peeled for information as it becomes available. Oh yeah, quick word to the wise: if you haven’t slipped your pups into a sweet pair of Diadoras, do so. ASAP.
