Sportie LA is the staple shoe store for all LA sneaker heads! So when they invited us out to a launch party for the very cool line Shulong, we had to go! If you’re not familiar, Shulong is a popular brand out of Europe most known for their comfortable and stylish sneakers originating from the “wushu” or martial arts shoes worn by Shaolin monks.
Manufactured since the 1930’s, Shulong is the result of a long Chinese tradition of comfort and well-being. Also known as, the “people’s sneakers”, they were prized for their comfort, durability, and flexibility. It was a treat to finally see these shoes up close and personal!
On the hot summer LA night, tumblers of mixed drinks and ice pops were served to a very welcoming crowd! Ultimat Vodka brought the drinks to the table that encouraged lots of shopping. The clean cut sneakers looked the best. Simple linen in cream, black and white were the stand outs by far. If you can’t see yourself in shoes that plan – Shulong has tons of shows in fun patterns and colors. Check out all the styles at the Shulong website.
