Every now and then a lady needs to be spoiled. We work hard, so why not play with just as much effort? Normally SGS hits you with the top shoe picks from leading sneaker brands. This week we decided to make you ladies drool a little. We skimmed cyberspace and dug up the hottest shoe designs from top-notch, international design labels. Grab your hankie, girl!
What kind of designer show post would this be without including a shoe from the oh so fab Christian Louboutin. Everyone knows the red-bottom king brings it when it comes to shoes and the Patent Spike is no exception. The silver spike covered shoe comes in guy and gal sizes and features an all patent leather upper. Nice. Another sneaker following the black/white color due is Y-3’s Shizuka High. The polka dots are super cute and super in!
Wanting a super crisp look for Spring? Yves Saint Laurent is where you need to start your search. The Ankle Strap Hi Top is a basic hi top kick featuring a leather upper and silver eyelets. Rest assured people will recognize the price tag on theses babies. YSL made sure to stamp the name on the velcro strap.
Denim is the undying material that we live for! If you love denim like I do then you have no problem sporting the cotton blend on your feet. The Andrea Crews Collective, founded by Maroussia Rebecq, designed their Slash sneaker with ladies like me in mind. The eco-friendly brand hails from Paris. Although the Collective is a new brand on my radar, the sneaker is hot. The tan gum bottom had me at hello while the thick rope-ish laces sealed the deal.
Rounding out the top designer sneaker silhouettes for Spring/Summer 2011 is the Lanvin low duo. The ‘his and her’ Leaf Print and Leather Lows are simple molds that pack a ton of quality. The two shoes are similar in design outside of the leaf pattern on the ladies sneaker. Very Spring friendly!
