Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and M.I.A. are some MISS favorites when it comes to chicks in dope threads. These ladies can pull together the most random of pieces and make the outfit look flawless. Outside of music these ladies share one other love, Jeremy Scott.
The forward thinking designer has stepped out his comfort zone. He’s already mastered the runway world, now he’s stepping into the lives of sneakerheads across the globe. Adidas as already released a Jeremy Scott collaboration, but the newest endeavor is on a whole ‘nother level. The Jeremy Scott ‘teddy bear’ Adidas have been a talk of the sneaker world since September 2010. The world got its first glimpse of the show on the cover on Sneaker Freaker Issue 19.
Since the first look, we’ve saw these pink, fuzzy kicks on the feet of Hong Kong Cantopop singer/actress Sammi Cheng. The brown version for guys were rocked by Lil Wayne on BET’s 106 & Park for the New Years Eve Cash Money/Young Money Takeover. The sneakers aren’t set to release until Spring 2011.
As you can see the entire upper of the sneaker is covered in Fuzzy Wuzzy’s fur and even includes the head of a teddy bear as the tongue. Oh, lets not forget the plush arms as well. No matter how far Jeremy Scott took this sneaker he still remained true to the Adidas brand. The triple stripe and Attitude Hi silhouette are still obvious.
The jury is still out on this shoe. There have been mixed reviews regarding the sneaker’s outlandish design. The hefty price tag is one reason for resistance. For $328 I don’t think I would rock my plush childhood pal on my feet. What do you ladies think? Do these sneakers have sole?
