Where was the photo taken?
This photo was taken in my conveniently located Manhattan studio right near Penn station.
What were you thinking before you shot the photo?
My main vision before i took the picture was to get the model to feel comfortable in her own skin, and go with the flow of what she felt inside. After learning of the model being a fan of yoga, I influenced her to get into that state of mind where one relaxes/stretches the whole body, and this was the first shot upon her relaxation.
What were you thinking after you shot the photo?
After we got this great shot, that i had envisioned in my head, we kept the same feel, an executed many more relaxed comfortable poses that screamed “High Fashion” in an effortless way.
What do you like about the image?
The image was totally what i painted in my mind before i even met the model, and i was glad that she took direction very well and executed the pose/feel and vibe of the shot.
What camera did you use to shoot the picture?
I’m a Nikon baby, but dabble with a Canon sometimes
How did you get your start in photography?
I started doing photography as a hobby, taking photo’s of nature and all my family and friends that i could catch in action. I have always had an eye for unique things and experimentation, and after modeling for some years, being in front of the camera wasn’t were i was most comfortable it was behind and was led to fashion photography because it was the best way for me to paint the scene in my mind into real life. I don’t limit myself to fashion though, I prefer not to be categorized because i paint a picture with every photo I take.
I’m very excited about my future endeavors with up and coming music artist, and taking my skills and profession to new heights. I’m only as good as my last picture, so I’m heading for greatness!!!
