The Friday before last brought the return of Fashion’s Night Out, the annual shopping event that has grown into a star studded festival on both coasts. This year Los Angeles had events in all the major shopping hubs; Abbot Kinney, Downtown, Los Feliz, Melrose, Century City, Rodeo, Santa Monica and the Grove. I spent the night at The Grove where Two Point Oh LA and Fashion Los Angeles were hosting their Blogger’s Cafe event in conjunction with Fashion’s Night Out LA.
The ladies and lads at Two Point Oh LA defiantly know how to throw an event! Upon check in all the attendees received a solid gift bag with the coveted Fashion’s Night Out LA screen print t-shirt. The food was amazing! Light and sweet it went perfect with the wine served throughout. For the main event LA a credited stylists presented what they foresee being the looks for fall. All the looks were great – lots of fur, lots of sequin and lots of accessories.
Margaret Sche had the stand out looks of the night. She mixed high end designers effortlessly with pieces from the Gap and showed off some bold ways to wear the hottest trends for fall. It didn’t hurt that Margaret was the best dressed woman at the event. Which is saying a lot since LA was on point for this massive fashion night.
On my way into Nordstroms I ran into the adorable Marla! She is my new found Ray Ban go to girl, especially after she gave me to inside scoop in these new arrivals, Cats 1000 in blue/violet glitter!
I also meet the cutest little blogger alive, Sasha Jones, creator of LA Inspiration.
LA might not be the fashion capital of the world, but it knows how to have a good time! Thanks to The Grove and Two Point Oh LA for throwing this awesome event.
