How young entrepreneur Kyle Pak has the heart to sell anything from his impressive vintage frame collection, I have no idea. His collection–which consists of frames from beloved brands Chanel, Cazal, Versace, Pierre Cardin and more–is beautifully presented on his site VintagEye.com,
Kyle started his collection in 2007 rummaging garage sales, thrift stores and optometrists (who knew?) for a variety of vintage frames. He has acquired 141 frames, 86 of which are currently for sale on VintagEye.com and 22 other frames make up his private collection while the remaining 37 have made their way around the world to what I assume are very happy buyers. But those numbers aren’t set in stone; the collection is still growing as items come in weekly. Once you take a look at the site yourself, you’ll see that he means business. Every piece is a definite collectors item, with some being truly avante garde. The designs span from different eras beginning in the 60s to present day and despite the years they look close to mint condition.
When asked about his favorites: Pierre Cardin and Oliver Goldsmith topped the 60s, Cazal in the 80s, Versace in the 80s, and Chanel all the way in the late 80s to early 90s. So as you can see, Kyle knows his stuff!
